I very much appreciated the detailed directions to the location of the facility, as without knowing to look out for the 'Posta' sign it would have been easy to miss the narrow alley. Once there, using the machine was easy and the bags were put away in no time. I'd ordered the large size for two large aircraft cabin bags plus a rucksack and there was plenty of spare room, so the lockers are of a generous size. It's a shame there's no room in the facility for a table on which to move things into/out of bags you're leaving or taking with you - there were people kneeling on the floor doing this. But I guess installing a working surface in the space available would take up too much room. I am very impressed with Stow Your Bags, and will certainly use the service again. It's not expensive and saves having to lug cases around to everyone's irritation if you find yourself on an evening flight with time to kill in the city. Well done for spotting a need and filling it!"

"Reserving and using the lockers could not have been easier! Some people have complained about the location being difficult to find, but if you map it on Google, it takes you right there. We had one mid-size checked suitcase, 4 carry-on sized suitcases (with a couple expanded) and 2 backpacks. We reserved 3 max sized lockers to ensure we had enough room and everything fit easily, with room to spare. I highly recommend reserving space ahead of time. As we were leaving, a large crowd of people were arriving. I'm not sure if they had locker space reserved but there aren't a ton of lockers so I'd be worried about finding space if I were to just show up without a reservation."

"Super offering, easy to use, really close to the Ferrovia. The remote human service was very helpful as I had booked storage for the wrong date. I was rebooked on the correct date with no problem. Coming out of the railway station to the wonderful view ahead of one, it could be easy to miss the access ramp. It's to the right of the steps at the exit of the station. Once down the ramp it's all level to Stow Your Bags. Look for a little yellow Poste sign down an alley on your right. You will see the Poste at the bottom of the alley and SYB is hidden just to the right. Thank you very much!"

"We went to Venice for a day on 11/29, and we needed a place to stow our bags while we walked around before heading to Milan, and Stow Your Bags was perfect! The place was super easy to find, and just within a couple of minutes walk from the Santa Lucia Station. The place felt secured, and it had a camera inside so that made me feel even better. Price was very reasonable, and the space was enough. I rented the smaller locker, and I was able to fit a backpack, a carry on suitcase, and a duffel bag. I should’ve rented the bigger locker to have more space in between the bags, but like I said before, everything fit perfectly. I definitely recommend this place. Only word of advice would be to rent a bigger locker if you are carrying more than 2 bags."

"Booked locker online ahead of time for Venice. Getting into the locker was easy. The large locker wasn't big enough for our 3rd bag and we rented another locker for it. The place was dirty inside with lots of garbage, but had been cleaned up when we came the next morning. The place is down a small alley. Look for the yellow postal sign out front. When it was time to claim our luggage it was easy to do. I would use this service again. It was nice not to have to drag all of our luggage with us."

It was a little tricky to find it --- as it was down a narrow ally. It is located next to a post office. All 3 of our suitcases fit into the larger locker. "We had an awesome experience with Stow Your Bags in Venice. Our train arrived around 6am, and Stow Your Bags was open from 7am (much earlier than any other place we had researched). It was only a few minutes' walk from the train station to the locker area, and if you're looking for the "Poste Italiano" sign pointing down an alleyway, you'll find it easily. The long line was to the post office, not to the luggage place, so don't be fooled. There was nobody else in the luggage place. We had two large suitcases and two medium-sized backpacks; we ended up needing two normal-size lockers for this and paid 14.50 for 4 hours. Most people would probably have less luggage though and be able to get away with one normal or large size locker. Everything was easy to figure out on the touch screen machine. Make sure to keep your receipt and close the locker afterwards when you take your bags away. Super easy and hassle-free!"

"We used the lockers near S Lucia train station in Venice. Only 2-3 min walk. Did not reserve before hand but had no issues finding an available locker. Registration was quick and efficient . There are sample lockers for you to try out and decide which size lockers you need. We could fit two cabin sized bags into a standard locker. We stored for two days. Better than lugging the bags onto the vaporettas or walking over the many bridges. Do not use the left baggage service in the station. They wanted to charge €78 to store two bags for two days whereas with Stowyourbags you only pay €20 for two bags for two days. Highly recommended."

"Using Stow Your Bags was easy and seemed very secure. It was very close to the Venice railway station, clean, and quiet. It’s a little tricky to find as it’s situated in a narrow little alley but just look for the postal office sign. My only issue was that the interface indicated I had to access my email to get my password, when in reality it was printed on the receipt."

"We got the "Large" storage and we were able to fit 2 medium sized suit cases (airline check-in size not cabin size). It was very convenient. We stayed for 2 nights in Venice and we did not have to tug along the heavy suitcases across the cobbled streets of Venice and the multiple bridges. If we stored it in the manned lockers at the Train Station, we would have paid twice the amount. Checking in and out was easy breezy."
